- Licensed as a Physician Assistant or as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the Board of Medical Examiners of Maryland / Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses
- Certifications as required by Medical Staff Office and Division of Critical Care Medicine
- Current certification "Healthcare Provider" BLS CPR
- Current certification "Healthcare Provider" ACLS
- Current certification NIH Stroke Scale Assessment
- Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS; required within 12 months of hire)
- Work is medium to heavy physical demand; walking and standing most of the time
- Ability to concentrate, pay close attention to detail, and to function effectively in stressful situations
- Normal patient care environment
- Frequently exposed to adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities
- Exposure to communicable disease

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Critical Care Advanced Practitioner (CCAP) is responsible for the clinical management of assigned patients in the Adult Intensive Care Unit , and is responsible, under supervision, for supporting day to day operations and all aspects of clinical care for patients admitted to any IMC/ICU beds.
Education Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program (ACNP) or Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) Experience Minimum one (1) year critical care experience.
