    Plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of plumbing structures and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a job project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

    Supervise and delegate plumbing technicians and helpers, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting technician meetings, counseling and training technicians, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective operations.

    Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, technicians, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or job site problems.

    Plan, schedule, or coordinate plumbing project activities to meet deadlines.
    Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.
    Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
    Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the installation or maintenance of plumbing structures, facilities, or systems.
    Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
    Develop or implement quality control programs.

    Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.

    Perform or contract others to perform prebuilding assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, or energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.

    Evaluate installation and/or repair methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
    Contract or oversee plumbing technician and plumber helper work.
    Direct and supervise job projects or related workers.
    Requisition supplies or materials to complete job projects.
    Review payroll records/time sheets to ensure that technicians are paid properly.
    Observes and enforces all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
