**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**

**(Includes but not limited to the following)**

Ability to handle large sums of money accurately.

Make every possible effort to acknowledge every guest within seconds.

When greeting guest display friendly hospitality. SMILE.

Must be aware of all current gaming promotions including hours of the promotions and games.

Insures accuracy of own cashier drawer at beginning, during and at the end of shift.

The ability to complete all required paperwork timely and in an accurate manner.

All shortages will be address any unanswered shortages will be dealt with counseling which could lead up to and including termination.

Answers telephone and directs calls in a professional manner.

Remain polite and professional at all times when dealing with guest, team members, managers, supervisors, and vendors.

Must be available to work special occasions, holidays, and special functions of Stockmans.

Verifies through computer system before cashing personnel checks and process payroll checks.

Scans and properly exchange gaming quicket tickets or slot vouchers from guest giving them the proper money.

Prepares fills and/or credits for table games, keno, change banks, bar, restaurants and vault.

Dispenses slot fills and jackpot payouts.

Redeems and handles players club vouchers.

Issues and accepts banks from various Food & Beverage Departments and Gaming Areas.

Insures accuracy of banks.

Handles petty cash transactions (Before shift ends needs to sell transaction to vault).

Verifies access for key controls and retains custody of one access key.

Perform necessary side work.

Follow departmental rules to ensure safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Be aware and correct any hazardous area to prevent accidents, especially wet floors.

Equipment that is in need of repair fill out a job work order explaining in detail what is in need of repair making sure department supervisor is aware of the request to have equipment fixed.

Cleanliness of your department but is also responsible for assisting in cleanliness of the casino floor. (When able a business warrants cleaning ashtrays, wiping down slot machines in front of the cage area keeping an eye on the cage. Mostly on Graveyard or slow times when you have more than one cashier and business is slow.

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.

Assure smooth transition during shift change. Remain on duty until relief is present and acknowledges that they are ready to take over.
