    As our Consumer Loan - Secured Processing team member, you'll:

    • Ensure accuracy and prepare secured loan documents for Lender by Phone loan closings
    • Handle lender questions and requests regarding consumer loans and DMV/DNR documentation
    • Prepare and submit DMV/DNR forms to respective agencies to secure our lien on collateral
    • Manage the Remote Loan Closings pipeline, perform quality control, and disburse loan funds upon receipt of electronically signed documents
    • Coordinate and monitor the activities of the student loan program, including but not limited to: new applications on loan origination system; disbursements; complete reports; obtaining proof of enrollment, answering lender/member questions, and implement rate changes
    • Follow-up with lenders or 3rd party agencies on items required to secure our lien.
    • Communicate frequently with third parties such as dealerships, other Financials, DMV, DNR, and student loan processing company
    • Complete loan maintenance requests (deferments/change of collateral).
    • Monitor and follow up with lenders on Loan Quality Review items
    • Monitor and process emails received in the department-shared inboxes.
    • Take member and lender calls in the phone queue and share other duties as needed
    An ideal candidate will have a combination of:
    • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree (GED, HSED)
    • One to three years of financial institution experience
    • Knowledge of home equity document preparation and/or lending is preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with matching organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you work directly with members, internal staff, and third party vendors
    • Multi-tasking is a must with the ability to manage several different responsibilities at the same time
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
