    Responsibilities / TasksThe Process Engineer is responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the product process.


    Process Engineer Job Duties:


    Will be traveling 75% of the time in North America, need a valid passport, prefer ability to travel to Canada.

    Company vehicle and credit card providedEvaluate and improve on processes for GEA Chemical and Pharma marketsAbility to read/interpret P.I.D'sComplete understanding of control systems for GEA equipmentAbility to upload and download to PLC's and make code corrections as neededAbility to work in multiple GEA marketsMaintain reliable and safe separation equipment while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields,Assist Senior Process/Sales Engineers in developing innovative solutionsImprove process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standardsPrepare samples for studyCollect, record, and transcribe dataShow results in reportsMaintain testing equipmentDevelop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production processProvide suggestions during incident investigationsAdvise on corrective actionsTrains customers on proper use of GEA equipmentTrains subordinatesWork with Project Engineering to develop a cost-effective and working production processRockwell, Ladder Logic programming helpfulYour Profile / QualificationsBS in Chemical Engineering preferred, other disciplines will be consideredMinimum 1 to 2 years process experienceGEA offers competitive pay and great benefits.
