- Design, develop and build applications that leverage cloud services along with AI models
- Identify and research relevant cloud services based on use-cases
- Research and build AI technologies, including cloud managed AI/ML services, generative AI services, and open-source trends, and help implement them in the BMS Cloud ecosystem"
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices, monitoring tools, and automated testing"
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile development processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code"
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and data pipelines
- Build APIs, and data meshes to make datasets available internally for analytics"teams.
- Partner with various application and data teams to understand their requirements and system which will help to build effective solutions.
- Create and maintain"documentation of solutions built."
- Identify and leverage existing solutions and platforms when needed to avoid duplication.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members"
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in development, with a focus on development, cloud computing and data engineering
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) and services, including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or
- Experience with ingestion frameworks such as Apache Spark/Kafka and platforms such as AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and EMR.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, best practices, and security principles
- Experience leading initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of new technologies. Works independently on most deliverables"
