    About the Job:

    The Department of Anthropology at Penn State is looking for an Assistant Research Professor to join the RISK lab. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research on human-environment interactions and human health, specifically focusing on analyzing data related to risk factors for zoonotic diseases like Lassa fever.

    Position Requirements:

    The Assistant Research Professor is expected to have a Ph.D. in anthropology, ecology, or a related field. They should have a track record of producing high-quality reports and publications. Additionally, candidates must show a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in their research environment.

    The role involves collaboration with local communities, government agencies, and One Health teams in Nigeria. Travel to rural Nigeria for field research is required.
