This is a Full-time/hourly position

REMOTE/HYBRID:
Typical schedules are in-office Monday through Friday. Remote and flexible scheduling may be discussed upon hire and supervisor approval.

This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Relocation assistance is not provided.

About The Role
As a
Facilities Services Worker
, you'll play a vital role in keeping Greenwood Village buildings, parks, and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This position involves a mix of cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks, as well as supporting special events and snow/ice control activities. If you enjoy hands-on work and making a visible impact in your community, this is the job for you

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain City buildings, restrooms, shelters, and picnic areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on doors, locks, lights, and equipment.
• Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms and offices.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Support special projects and events, including setup and takedown.
• Operate equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and vehicles.

What We're Looking For
Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 100 lbs.

Education & Experience

• No experience required. One year of experience in facility maintenance preferred. Equivalent to the achievement of a High School Diploma or G.E.D or any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities to qualify.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Colorado driver's license, in accordance with Colorado law, and a driving record satisfactory to obtain coverage by the City's insurance carrier.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, CCIC/NCIC Certification through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation within 6 months of hire.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to a variety of adverse weather conditions, odors, and other potentially hazardous environmental conditions.
• Will need to work professionally with City staff and general public for purposes of completing assignments.
• Will work with a variety of light and heavy-duty equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• This position may involve working a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends and may be subject to work beyond normal scheduled hours
