    Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
    • Hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient role, with a requirement for Night Shift (7p-7a) availability
    • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA
    • Regularly assess patients' status based on facility or healthcare organization guidelines, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, hemodynamic, pain, comfort, and mental aspects
    • Accurately interpret data from various monitors
    • Understand the pathophysiology of common diseases
    • Familiar with the physiology related to anesthesia techniques and medical procedures
    • Create personalized care plans
    • Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, equipment operation, reporting unsafe situations, and speaking up for patient welfare
    • Handle specimens, adhere to safety protocols, and communicate patient status effectively
    • Provide acute pain management, administer medications safely, and monitor patients appropriately
    • Prevent infections, maintain wound integrity, manage co-morbid conditions, and ensure proper fluid management
    • Offer education on psychosocial responses, nutrition, medication, and wound management
    • Engage patients in decision-making for their care plan and rehabilitation
    • Respect patient rights, dignity, and privacy
    • Deliver culturally competent and ethical care within legal standards
    • Evaluate patients' progress and provide necessary hand-off reports
    • Delegate tasks according to regulations and documentation requirements
    • Thoroughly document care episodes
    • Communicate effectively within the team and participate in quality improvement initiatives
    • Contribute to performance appraisals, maintain competencies, and pursue professional development
    • Act as a patient advocate, maintain confidentiality, and comply with policies
    • Engage in team meetings, trainings, and safety protocols
    • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and perform assigned duties diligently

    Qualifications:
    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
    • Preferred one year of experience in acute care or medical/surgical nursing
    • Valid state nursing licensure in good standing
    • Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment
    • Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment
    • Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days if pediatric care is part of the facility's scope services

    Minimum:
    USD $36.00/Hr


    Maximum:
    USD $50.00/Hr
