    Job Title: Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician

    Description:

    Main Industries is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling mechanical/electrical maintenance tasks on equipment commonly found in Marine/Industrial blasting and coating operations, such as pumps, compressors, and diesel engines. Candidates must possess the ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions, propose and implement solutions, as well as conduct inspections and perform maintenance on company vehicles. Proficiency in operating forklifts and power tools, along with welding experience, is also required.

    Job Type:

    Full-time, hourly

    Required Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician, including welding skills.

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Experience working in challenging environments, including confined spaces and at heights
    • Must be fit-tested for respirator use and trained in respiratory safety as per OSHA standards
    • Preference for candidates with forklift and aerial man lift training/certifications
    • Ability to understand and execute instructions from supervisors
    • Compliance with all safety signs and precautions on-site
    • Applicants must undergo drug testing and E-Verification for US employment eligibility
    • Certain projects may require a criminal background check
    • Having a current TWIC badge is advantageous
    • Reliable transportation is a must

    Overtime is not guaranteed but may be required for certain projects, including weekends, nights, or exceeding 40 hours in a week. Employees are expected to be available as needed.
