    Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Urbana, Illinois.

    Job Description & Requirements

    1+ years of surgical tech experience.
    Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO
    -Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures.
    -Demonstrates ability to problem solve in relation to the procedure being performed.
    -Applied basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, microbiology, and pharmacology for optimal surgical patient care.
    -Applies basic knowledge of electricity, chemistry, computers, robotics, and lasers for optimal surgical patient care.
    -Demonstrates knowledge and practice of patient care concepts and perioperative teamwork.
    -Applies principles of sterile technique during surgical procedures.

    Required Certifications & Licensure:
    -BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
    -IDPH Fingerprinting

    Genie Healthcare Job ID # Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
