    Baillie Lumber's Rip Line is looking to add some motivated Finished Goods Handlers to join our team. Located near beautiful Upstate, NY we are a leading commercial hardwood lumber manufacturer that is experiencing exponential growth, producing a variety of building products for numerous industry sectors. We are seeking skilled employees to assist with the day-to-day operations.

    Finished Goods Handler Details

    Identify the sort for the carts you are responsible for. Placing finished products into the correct carts according to the width & Length of the pieces.

    Place each piece with the following criteria:

    • Top, bottom and outside pieces will be the longest
    • All edges will be free of knots, wane, and other defects
    • Bundle must be square with edge boards against the pipes of the cart
    • Build each bundle until full and finish off with a nice top layer
    • Push out finished bundle for forklift to remove

    Finished Goods Handler Qualifications

    • Be 18 years of age or older
    • Detail oriented
    • Self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task
    • Great attitude
    • Standing for long periods of time, bending and stooping
    • Employment is contingent on successfully passing a physical examination, including drug screening

    Nice to Have Skills

    • Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
    • Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide, read a measuring tape, calipers, digital indicators)
    • High School degree preferred, but not required
