    We are looking for a savvy Company Manager

    NewDealDesign is growing, and we are looking for an energetic, insightful person with extraordinary people skills to run our studio's operational day-to-day activities. As a member of the management team and reporting directly to the company's President, the Company Manager will be a hands-on leader and influence the daily affairs and flow of the business. You will touch anything and everything on the business side of our work and constantly juggle the many diverse questions and needs that pass your way. From preparing financial reports and hiring new employees to maintaining the facility and planning events, this role requires an exceptionally proactive, organized, and adept multitasker who knows how to prioritize given a situation. This exciting role provides a wonderful opportunity to run the business side of a creative studio while also having fun fostering a positive workplace with the right balance of professionalism, creative environment, and operational effectiveness. Because of the varied tasks and the changing needs of the studio, flexibility, positivity, and an ability to think economically and strategically are critical to success in this role.

    We are looking for someone with the right level of experience and desire to want to grow with us and impact how we run our studio.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    A. Finance: Lead, Create and Oversee P&L, Payroll, Banking.

    • Gather and synthesize relevant data for all financial reporting. (Excel, Quickbooks, etc.).
    • Create and present regular financial reports, client billings, and other business projections to company's President- AR, AP, SOW, cash flow, using NDD standard Excel tracking sheet.
    • Use creative foresight and data to predict and preempt business situations.
    • Oversee payroll in collaboration with vendor/CPA.
    • Monitor all billings and act as the point of escalation for all finance issues.

    B. Personnel Development

    • Develop an action plan for increased retention and providing continuous mentoring and personnel development to achieve an average tenure of 5 yrs.
    • 401K and other benefits management.
    • Partner with discipline leads on company-wide annual reviews and career planning for key employees.
    • Assist President in compensation - total company compensation cap, prioritizing benefits and perks.
    • Provide sound advice and counsel on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex employee-relation issues, including through engagement of NDD's lawyers.
    • Be thoroughly familiar with, operate and manage HR software and personnel policies and guidance.
    • Plan team-building events and perks to establish an exceptional team environment.

    C. Company Operations:

    • Mange our studio facility in support of the creative teams, business development, and marketing.
    • Assist in contract negotiations and establish financial/legal framework with clients large and small, including dynamic income mechanisms – Fees, Retainers, Royalties, Stock Options, Notes, etc.
    • Proactive analyses of Finance and HR for potential new business opportunities.
    • Assist in the Company's presentation outwards – Website, front display, main meeting rooms – making sure the content is well kept, current, coherent and well presented. Assist in Award submission and operations. Act in coordination with the content developers- Marketing, Design and NDD leadership.
    • Archiving & IT – manage IT consultant in maintaining the digital equipment, coherent and complete server filing, supervise digital archiving and archive items-of-importance,

    REQUIRED

    • Exceptional people skills in a professional/creative environment, including with clients, and sometimes in a stressful situation.
    • Presence at work: full-time, 5-days-a-week in the office. "Presence of mind": the ability to address important issues after work with a commitment to continuity of business needs.
    • Excellent familiarity and acceptance of a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
    • At least 5 years of Creative Agency experience with a proven track record and job continuity.
    • Position is "At Will" with a salary range of $90,000.00-$120,000.00 annually + benefits.
