Forward Service Corporation (FSC), a passionate, not-for-profit firm that strives to provide exceptional customer service in employment and training related services to local, state and federally funded program participants.

Our non-profit firm is seeking one full-time Data Engineer to support staff across the state of Wisconsin. The home office is located in Madison, WI, but is otherwise a 100% remote position. Some travel may be required.

The Data Engineer performs a variety of duties related to data including conducting full life cycle analysis from requirements gathering to data collection, managing the data pipeline and creating reports/data visualizations.

This position provides independent, capable professional performance of assigned tasks and escalates when necessary.

The Data Engineer stays current on emerging IT and data trends, identifies opportunities for improvement and cost savings and works with business partners to determine new ways to use data.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE
Work closely with business partners to understand and anticipate their data needs
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including identifying operational efficiencies
Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
Analyzing and organize raw data, conducting complex data analysis and reporting on results and preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics with 8 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, non-exempt position with a

minimum starting rate of $90,321/year

with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.

Example:

Meet only minimum requirements start at $90,321/year; with 3 additional years of direct experience start at $93,050.95/year; 5 additional years of direct experience $ $95,863.42/year, etc.
