    - and moreWhat you will do – Essential responsibilitiesAutomotive Technicians diagnose, recondition and repair vehicles to ensure CarMax customers can drive away feeling safe and at easeWork as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectivelyBuild experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness and organizationBe part of a team that cares about customers and their carsCarMax Automotive Technicians work in a fast-paced environment where motivation is key.     Qualifications and requirementsExperience in one or more of the following:

    engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioningKnowledge of health and safety complianceManual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, and walk and stand for extended periods of timeManage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skills and attention to detailPossession of a valid driver's licenseWhere required by State/Local law, maintain ASE Certification in Brakes A4 and Steering & Suspension A5About CarMaxCarMax disrupted the auto industry by delivering the honest, transparent and high-integrity experience customers want and deserve.
