Maintenance Worker

Salary: $15.75 per hour

The Arc of Delaware County is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team. Responsibilities will include but limited to basic repairs / preventative maintenance, inspection of our facilities and grounds keeping with particular emphasis on safety, prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Other responsibilities:

Perform building preventative maintenance, repairs, grounds keeping and inspections at various facilities
Candidate should have experience in basic plumbing, electric, carpentry, painting, boilers, drywall finishing, landscaping, snow plowing, etc.
Assist when furniture and equipment needs at various facilities
Responsible for the care of tools and equipment used in performing tasks
Informs supervisor of projects requiring higher skilled crafts person
Perform inventory of parts & supplies at our various locations
Maintain a clean working environment
Work together in a team environment with coworkers and other personnel.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
3 years Maintenance experience
Ability to work weekends and extended work hours as needed
Strong written & oral communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent computer skills and familiarly with Microsoft Office programs
Must possess a valid New York driver's license.
Ability to pass pre-employment checks
Possess an understanding of OSHA regulations
