- Create short and long-term strategic UC technology roadmaps, backed by pragmatic designs that support our enterprise technology roadmaps and key business objectives.
- Manage plans and policies for Microsoft Teams and associated voice and video communications services, strategies, and technologies.
- Establish a consistent and progressive strategy and architecture for unified communications exploiting new market opportunities as appropriate.

As a Unified Communications Architect, you will provide end-to-end technology ownership for voice and video services to support our global business.
Who we are looking for:
Delivery-focused individuals with proven experience working as a Unified Communications Architect or in a similar role. Who will be responsible for Parexel's technical solutions for global voice and video, interoperability with associated legacy voice services, video and event streaming communications technologies, immersive video conferencing technology and multi-party voice and video collaboration across different endpoints and use cases. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of engineering experience in unified communications and collaboration platforms, including Teams; Design and implementation of Direct Routing in an enterprise environment with engineering support experience in enterprise global voice footprints with 10,000+ seats. Along with a deep understanding of voice technologies: TDM, SIP, QoS, SBC, Codecs, E.911/emergency dialing, voice recording and general IP telephony; functional knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/MAN topologies, Ethernet, MPLS, QoS, and differentiated services and security concepts. Bachelors degree in a relevant technical area or equivalent work experience.
