    Seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronic Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechatronic systems and prototypes according to engineering specifications.

    Job Requirements:

    • Associate degree or relevant work experience.
    • Five years of experience as a technician in the assembly field.
    • Experience in assembling small electrical components, including cables, connectorization, and crimping.
    • Proficient in soldering techniques.
    • Manual dexterity to handle small components with precision.
    • Ability to understand and operate complex equipment and systems.
    • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical test equipment.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in an FDA-regulated industry.
    • Ability to use machine shop equipment to modify prototype mechanical assemblies and fixtures.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapid prototype design environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering drawings and schematics.
    • Align and troubleshoot mechatronic systems from assembly drawings and verbal instructions.
    • Test and diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and ammeters.
    • Perform various tests on mechatronic systems to ensure robustness, safety, and functionality.
    • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to create, fabricate, and improve assembly fixtures.
    • Generate and deliver project documents as per engineers' instructions.
    • Recommend improvements to assembly processes and test protocols.
    • Deliver assemblies, prototypes, and fixtures.
    • Provide accurate test reports of tests and diagnoses.
    • Maintain good recordkeeping of conditions and results of assembly and testing.
    Pay Details: $34.00 to $46.00 per hour
