Job summary
The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning organizing and directing a comprehensive activity program that meets the mental physical and social needs of residents.This program is designed to enhance residents quality of life encourage engagement and promote overall well-being while adhering to applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Develops and implements a robust activity program tailored to resident interests and needs.
- Completes required documentation in a timely manner tracks attendance participation in activities creates distributes monthly calendar plans submits budget ensuring adherence financial guidelines coordinates set-up preparation special functions events organizes sets up leads daily group individual activities lectures social gatherings outings entertainment events visits engages new residents shortly after moving assess their interests introduce them activity program organizes chaperons off-campus outings museums theaters restaurants sporting events coordinates volunteers works closely outside vendors enhances program offerings assists emergency procedures fire drills resident safety instructions maintains compliance HIPAA regulations standards attends participates staff meetings training programs supervises schedules assigned activity staff hiring training evaluating performance adheres flexible work schedule evenings weekends holidays as needed
