Your ChallengeEXPis currently seeking an eager Engineer Site Civil for itsChicagooffice to work within the Infrastructure business practice.

The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Site Civil Group Manager with a focus on projects that support our Site Civil/Land Development, Buildings, Telecommunications, Mission Critical, and Infrastructure Practices nationally.

Project types and clients will vary.
Your ResponsibilityPrepares engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projectsDesigns grading and drainage elements for site improvementsProperly coordinates utility conflict resolutions and designs utility piping systems when requiredAnalyzes site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movementsPrepares erosion control documents including permitting and SWPPP submittalsPerforms hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systemsCoordinates with multi-disciplinary teams as needed to finalize all design detailsPerforms construction assistance related tasks including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating needed revisions (some travel may be required)Works with dynamic design teams including architects, engineers, land use attorneys, surveyors, and contractorsThe Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We SeekBS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent2-5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering or related role (site development experience preferred)EIT certification preferred and working towards PEProficient in using AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to travel for 1-2 day site inspection/meeting trips (one trip per month or less average)#J-18808-Ljbffr
