    Description

    Winds of Change, a reputable mental health center located in Missoula, MT, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner Psychiatrist to join our compassionate team.

    As a Nurse Practitioner at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting well-being in our community.

    Your duties will involve delivering comprehensive healthcare services, conducting patient assessments, diagnosing medical conditions, and recommending suitable treatment plans.

    We offer a competitive hourly pay of up to $50 (dependent on experience) and a nurturing work environment that supports personal and professional development.

    This role is initially part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time hours in the future.


    Compensation:
    $50 per hour DOE Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
    • Perform diagnostic tests to diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
    • Prescribe medications and provide patient education on proper medication administration and potential side effects
    • Respond to pharmacy and refill requests accordingly
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
    • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes
    • Proficient in electronic records and documentation
    • Performing and giving psychotherapy for treatment of conditions Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree in Nursing
    • Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in primary care

Today, we have more than 70 on our staff and are pleased to be offering our recovery services to nearly 450 people in the Missoula area through Therapy, Case Management, Substance Use Treatment, community-based Psychiatric Rehab, and support, Wellness Program with personal wellness coaches, Recovery Groups, and Adult Group Home Living.
