    Job Summary -
    Leads and manages multi-disciplinary projects for quality and patient safety improvement with increasing autonomy.
    Manages project logistics, timelines, documents, and reporting to diverse audiences independently.
    Possesses knowledge of patient safety science and various improvement methodologies.
    Conducts risk surveys and assessments across departments and systems.
    Utilizes incident reporting data for trend analysis and safety enhancement.
    Supports the development and evaluation of safety programs.
    Implements data management and analytics for quality improvement projects.
    Supports teams in developing care initiatives for specific patient groups.
    Mentors Quality & Patient Safety Associates.
    Cultivates positive relationships with stakeholders and staff.
    Educates personnel on quality improvement and patient safety principles.
    Administers databases as needed.
    Ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
    Prepares for and participates in accreditation surveys.
    Communicates policies, prepares reports, and supports departmental initiatives.


    Requirements:
    BSN required, with preference for a master's degree.
    Clinical degree required, specifically RN.

    Preferred certifications:
    CPPS or CPHQ.
    3-5 years' experience combined with healthcare administration; minimum 1 year experience in clinical quality/patient safety.
