    System Engineer

    This is 100% remote within the US. It will go till 6/30/24 (all their contracts get renewed on this date) and it will have extensions.

    Top Skills:

    • 13 years of proven technical lead for design, planning, execution, and installation of infrastructure components to support new applications and technologies. Support software and hardware upgrades to network servers, operating systems, and applications. experience working with SSO with Microsoft Azure.

    • 10 years of experience in two or more programming languages like PowerShell, PHP, JavaScript or .Net

    • 8 years of experience using API frameworks.

    INTERVIEW NOTES:

    • Phone and web-based interviews will be acceptable.

    • However, an in--person interview may be required.

    • MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview. (One reference must be a supervisory level.)

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • Candidate MUST be physically located in the United States. International candidates/phone numbers will not be accepted.

    • Candidate must follow ALL DCF work rules

    • Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)

    • Candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position (See job description for required specifications.)

    DCF is looking for a System Integration Specialist that will be focused on connecting internal and external disparate applications, systems, cloud-based software solutions and data storage. The Systems Integration Specialist's role is to participate in the planning, coordination, solution development, and implementation activities related to the integration of diverse applications or technologies for DCF. The candidate will need proven strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, PHP and .Net. They must also understand data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.

    The candidate must have experience in Single Sign On (SSO) integrations with Azure to new or existing cloud services or to our existing on-premise technologies and understand the different integration methods. These integrations may include but are not limited to Microsoft O365, Azure DevOps or SAAS products for development or telecommunications. Skills will be required in creating network diagrams or dataflow diagrams using Microsoft Visio. The experience will include building current state diagrams as well as gathering business requirements, completing technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and building future state diagrams based on the information gathered from the program or development groups.

    Skills needed:
    • A strong competency and experience with Single Sign On (SSO), securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and data encryption methods.
    • Confidence and experience with API tools, framework, protocols, and schemas, such as Newtonsoft. JSON, Swagger, RestSharp, Refit, SOAP, REST, Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client or Microsoft.Net.HTTP
    • Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools, including Microsoft SQL Data Transformation Services, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, PowerShell, Transact SQL.
    • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
    • Understanding of end-user needs and requirements.
    • Extensive knowledge of relational database design and management techniques, especially with Microsoft SQL Server.
