A travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Morgantown. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shifts are rotating with self-scheduling available Minimum of two full weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) per month required Holiday coverage included in the perm staff rotation Responsibilities include caring for high-acuity pediatric patients titrating drips supporting diverse diagnoses Charge nurse and house supervisor support available; nurse aids present on both day and night shifts to assist with equipment setup and admissions Centralized monitoring is available strips are read off the unit Royal blue scrubs with kid-friendly tops are required no t-shirts allowed Orientation includes Epic training equipment competencies mentorship for three shifts in the PICU First-time travelers accepted No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Requirements Active WV or Compact RN license required current BLS PALS certifications minimum of two years of PICU experience required Titration of sedation vasoactive drips required Epic EMR experience will be covered in orientation Must reside at least fifty miles from the facility address COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved medical religious exemption is granted Must provide an unexpired copy of driver's license for consideration Returning employees must have a two-year break from any WVU Medicine location Benefits High Pay Bonuses Medical Dental Vision Insurance Day One Options 401k Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem Subsidy Traveler Rewards Discounts
