The basic purpose of this position is to manage the activities of the Rapid Response personnel and to market the services of the Rapid Response Center (RRC).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)Provide resource allocation, scheduling, and tracking for projects and activities within the RRC.Perform quoting for potential jobs to be built in the RRC.Market the services of the RRC to potential and existing customers.
Maintain presentations, web-site, customer contact lists, brochures and other pertinent marketing materials.Strive to continuously improve the processes and housekeeping of the RRC.Responsible for the proper execution of and continuous improvement of RRC processes.
Ensure that personnel are adequately trained to fulfill the requirements of their position.Promptly respond in professional manner to all requests from customers (both internal and external).Provide other activities as defined by the VP of Engineering.
Follow all ESD policies and procedures.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors of Science in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years experience in contract electronics industry.
Ability to lead and supervise the activities of small groups.
Strong customer interface and marketing skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and complete multiple assignments.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Strong computer skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms.
The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building, and effectively communicate.WORK ENVIRONMENT The environment is fast-paced; time pressured, and requires accuracy.
The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder at times.
