This position leads the strategic direction of technology initiatives, prioritizing patient safety, quality care, and operational efficiency. The Director must collaborate with various stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT personnel, and executive leadership, to develop and execute comprehensive technology management strategies. They are responsible for overseeing the procurement, installation, maintenance, and operation of healthcare technologies, including biomedical equipment and information systems. By bridging the gap between clinical needs and technological capabilities, this role ensures that healthcare institutions leverage innovative technologies to enhance patient care outcomes and operational workflows.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for healthcare technology management.
    • Oversee the selection, procurement, and installation of medical equipment and technology solutions.
    • Manage a team of healthcare technology professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Monitor and analyze technology performance to optimize operational efficiency and patient safety.
    • Facilitate training and support for clinical staff on the use of new technologies.

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Technology Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Master's degree in business administration or healthcare management is preferred.
    • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare technology management or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within healthcare technology environments.
    • Proven track record of successful project management in technology implementations.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
    • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and vendor negotiations.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
