    Description
    We're seeking a professional and reliable Animal Care Attendant to join our pack at Spanish Springs Pet Resort

    Position Overview:
    • Experience is preferred but not essential. This entry-level position. Opportunities for Advancement.
    • Pay can vary depending on Experience.
    • We're seeking full-time and part-time employees to join our amazing team.
    • All shifts are 12 hours.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Sanitizing/Cleaning the full facility daily.
    • Sanitize all the play yards within the facility.
    • Ensure the removal of animal droppings from all yards within the facility.
    • Sanitizing and cleaning all the water and food bowls for the animals.
    • Feeding and caring for the lovely pets we have in the facility.
    • Organizing and relocating the pets within the yards may be necessary.
    • Properly communicate with other staff members throughout the day.
    • Supervised all pets in the facilities yards.
    • Maintain a warm personality and a welcoming attitude.

    Job Requirements:
    • Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
    • Ability to take initiative and act in the best interest of the animals with minimal or no supervision.
    • Ability to maintain self-sufficiency after training.
    • Computer skills are highly preferred but not required.
    • The ability to quickly learn animal behavior and body language.

    Special/Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to withstand working in varying weather conditions.
    • Ability to lift/carry 50+ pounds. ((dog food bags, trash bags, etc..)
    • Comfort and capacity to work with animals of uncertain temperament, as well as those who may have medical or other issues.
    • Strength to handle and control large dogs on a lesh. They do pull.
