    Christ College at Concordia University Irvine invites applications for a full-time faculty member in systematic theology at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor beginning July 1, 2024. The faculty member will teach undergraduate theology courses in Concordia's Enduring Questions and Ideas Curriculum as well as upper division and graduate courses in systematic theology. The faculty member will also engage in theological scholarship, provide service to the university, and represent the Lutheran theological tradition within the university community. Candidates should hold an earned doctorate in systematic theology; candidates who are ABD may be considered. Application Requirements.

    • Names of three references who can speak to the candidate's teaching ability and scholarship in systematic theology

    Qualifications: Only candidates who are currently ordained ministers in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod or one of its partner church bodies, or who will be eligible for ordination by the time of the appointment, will be considered for this position.
