We are a Heavy Duty Truck Parts Distributor serving our customers out of our 8 locations in PA, NJ and DE. All of our purchasing and internal distribution is done out of our Gilbertsville, PA location.
Job Summary: HR Manager – 80%
A Human Resources Manager aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefit-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resources Manager makes certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
· Partners with legal counsel as needed/required.
· Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
· Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
· Processes terminations.
· Designs and assists with the performance review process.
· Makes photocopies, mails, scans, and emails documents; performs all clerical functions of the Department.
· Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
· Prepares new employee files.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
· At least two years' related experience required.
· SHRM-CP credential preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Summary: Safety Manager – 20%
The Safety Manager will manage the organization's safety and security programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
· Coordinates the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.
· Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs.
· Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
· Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety management program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management.
· Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
· Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes and rules.
· Manages workers' compensation claims over three states.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Extensive knowledge of security protocols and emergency preparedness.
· Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to conduct training.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
· Training or certification in safety preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
· Ability to travel throughout the facility as required to conduct safety inspections.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
