- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an approved residency training program in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Board Certification or board eligible for certification in Family Medicine or
- Must be able to demonstrate that he or she is currently engaged in an active medical practice in Family medicine or Emergency medicine and has worked at least 600 hours in an Emergency Room in the last 2 years; or that he or she has recently competed a residency in family medicine or emergency medicine.
- Those desiring to hold emergency medicine privileges must also be able to demonstrate their practice includes the provision of care to family medicine patients; and those recently completing an approved residency program must be able to demonstrate the appropriate training was included in the residency program.
- Previous experience with EPIC helpful but not required.
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted , current medical license to practice medicine issued by the State of Wisconsin, a narcotics license and be credentialed through the Medical Staff of the hospital.
- Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Crossing Rivers Health is seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Physician to join our Emergency Services Team in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
We are a Critical Access Hospital and Clinic nestled in the heart of the Midwest in a state consistently ranked in the Top 5 states for Providers to practice medicine.
In a thriving historic river town surrounded by picturesque bluffs, Crossing Rivers Health is a comprehensive community health center that provides more than 100 services to the people who live throughout Southwest Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa.
The ED Physician is responsible for directing medical services performed within the Emergency Room in cooperation with the ED Medical Director and the ED Director.
Your ability to demonstrate medical knowledge and competence in the Emergency Room specific to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, along with your calm and caring demeanor, will make you an excellent fit for our growing organization.
Our ED Physicians have amazing work/life balance You will work on average 6 shifts/month.Shifts are 24 hours; typically 10 am to 10 am.
