    This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) PRAx Driver positions for the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx) at Oregon State University (OSU).


    The Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx) is hiring multiple part-time drivers to transport touring artists and performance groups scheduled to present in PRAx during the opening season, April 1 to June 15, 2024.


    PRAx employees will drive OSU Motor Pool vehicles to and from Corvallis and the Portland International Airport or the Eugene Airport as performance groups arrive in Oregon and depart following their performances.

    Drivers may also be asked to transport performance groups within Corvallis for rehearsals and other engagement activities.

    Safely operating 12-passenger vans, box trucks (as needed), and sedans.

    • Ensuring the vehicle is clean and presentable before and after transportation.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of state and local driving laws and always comply with those laws.
    • Completing the OSU Motor Pool van safety training.
    • Other driving related duties as assigned
    Hours will vary depending on individual performance group itineraries and could include early mornings and evening hours.

    Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study

    • Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
    • High School student: Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: Undergraduate international student: Graduate student officially admitted to
    Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term

    Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term** International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

    A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
