The department houses several degree programs, including a doctoral program in clinical psychology (APA-accredited), a master's program in counseling (MPCAC-accredited), a school counseling program, and a large undergraduate program.

Job Description
The Department of Psychology and Counseling in the School of Education, Social Work and Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) is excited to invite applications for a 9-month, benefit-eligible, tenure-track
Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology to begin Fall Semester 2024.
Successful candidates will demonstrate potential for excellence in research, contribute to our PhD program in clinical psychology, and show dedication to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
D. in Clinical Psychology and have graduated from an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology.
Successful candidates will be expected to maintain a record of publication, seek and secure external funding as needed for sustained research productivity, teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, and provide service commensurate with the Assistant Professor rank.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Ph.
D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program. (The Ph.

Anticipated Hiring Range
The salary is commensurate with credentials, experience and demonstrated potential for success in externally funded research.
