Responsibilities of Counter Sales Associate:
Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during the sales process; up sell complementary products
Correctly enter the customer order in the computer system
Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements; market all products sold and suggest replacement/alternative products when appropriate
Maintain a working knowledge of the entire sales process from start to finish (including the order, billing, delivery, and payment processes)
Assist in maintaining the counter, merchandising, and product display area assuring a safe, clean and orderly environment; assemble and stock product displays and shelves and prepare customer refreshments
Assist in warehouse duties such as stocking, labeling shelves, restocking showroom, inventory of goods, cycle counting, etc. in a manner that assures an orderly and safe work environment
Assist with the shipping and receiving processes as needed including training on the UPS shipment process
Occasionally operate a forklift to assist in warehouse duties

Qualifications of Counter Sales Associate:
High School diploma or equivalent

A minimum of one year of experience in the Tool, Rental and or Safety industry and/or knowledge of Tools Renal or Safety products.

Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong customer service skills
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm work schedule
