Job Description And Duties

Anticipated Interview Dates: In-person interviews expected to begin the week of February 23, 2026.

Telework Information: This is a hybrid position with up to 40% remote work (two days per week).

CalPERS is seeking an Analyst II in the Health Account Management Division (HAMD), Medicare Unit. The candidate will act in a lead capacity to assist with Medicare enrollment services to members and employers who participate in the CalPERS health benefits program, and perform the most complex analytical Medicare determinations.

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. CalPERS does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.

Effective July 1, 2025, CalHR implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP PLP 2025 directs that each employee shall receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range reflected in the job advertisement does not reflect the 3 percent reduction in pay.
