Location:

Greensboro, NC Overview:
The Design Engineer III will identify needs, design, and develop solutions for advanced UCC systems that integrate multi-vendor systems using a common advanced communications core
This position will provide customer-facing technical assistance in support of business development, sales, and project activities
This position is responsible for designing and delivering solutions while applying technical competencies to ascertain sustainable competitive advantage

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Advanced industry and/or vendor certification with manufacturers such as CISCO, Poly, Crestron, and AMX are required.
• AVIXA CTS-I or CTS-D required

Travel Requirements:
This position requires approximately 25% travel

Security Clearance:

• Must have current U.S

Government SECRET Clearance

• Must be a U.S

citizen

Education and/or Experience:

• BS in EE or related degree and 8 to 10 years experience, or 13+ years experience in UCC

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Willingness to obtain industry and manufacturer certifications necessary to design, build and implement UCC technology.
• Willingness to establish an engineering and installation plan of activities and execute.
• Willingness to train, direct and mentor other engineers and technicians.
• Proficiency in Visio and/or AutoCAD.
