- Post and reconcile cash. Review and approve accounts payable, corporate card, and reimbursement classifications. Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to review, modify, and approve activity required for reporting needs and for the close cycle. This includes revenue recognition, capitalization, and compliance.
- Partner with FP&A to support the preparation of financial reports and analyses, including budget vs. actual comparisons, trend analysis, and variance explanations. Assist in providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.
- Design and document procedures. Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline accounting processes.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing analytical support, and contributing to cross-functional teams as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the technology, software, or public accounting industries.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, NetSuite, Ramp) and Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
- 90-100K
