    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:


    The Outreach Coordinator, under the supervision of the Shareholder Development Manager, is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks associated with Chugach's Shareholder Development and hire initiatives.

    Under the Apprenticeship Program, the Outreach Coordinator supports internal shareholder programs and outreach efforts as directed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS /


    ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
    Supports all Shareholder Development projects and initiatives.
    Performs outreach for shareholder education, employment and training opportunities.
    Maintains shareholder hire files, ensuring filing is completed in a timely manner in accordance with established guidelines.
    Assists with Shareholder Hire verifications and provides weekly Preference Candidate list.
    Assists with talent bank data entry, spreadsheets, and compiling reports as assigned.
    Maintains department financial log and Chugach Shareholder Business Directory.
    Researches and gathers information for reporting and events.
    Facilitates Internship/Apprenticeship program meetings.
    Acts as first point of contact for Internship/Apprenticeship program questions.
    Performs initial audit and assists with check request process.
    Compiles job board notification spreadsheet and uploads position descriptions into library.
    Uploads resumes into database and assists with resume development.
    Provides weekly active job report to Shareholder Development team.
    Assists with events to include, but not limited to, Shareholder Annual Meeting, job fairs, etc.
    Assists with preparation and minute taking for various committee meetings.
    Assists with departmental mailouts and picking up and delivering supplies as needed.
    Performs other related work as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):


    Mandatory:
    Must be a Chugach Alaska Corporation Shareholder or descendant of a CAC shareholder.
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Six (6) months of administrative experience.
    Valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
    Demonstrated intermediate skills in the use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
    Ability to obtain Chugach's Training Without Walls certification within one year of employment.

    Knowledge Of:
    administrative procedures, policies and practices, operation of common office machinery including copiers, fax machines, and computers.

    Ability To :

    maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively orally and in writing, ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner, exercise good judgment and initiative.
