We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and meeting critical payment deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Process high-volume payment runs, including 1,000–2,000 payments per day and 100–200 manual check payments
Prepare, review, and transmit payment files to clients and vendors
Ensure complete accuracy of payment details prior to release
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies
Maintain strict adherence to payment schedules to ensure timely check runs
Support documentation, tracking, and reconciliation of payment activity
Assist with additional accounts payable functions and special projects as needed

Qualifications:
1+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
Experience with check runs, electronic payments (ACH/wire), and payment processing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
