The Intermodal Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational execution for the Intermodal logistics portion of the Watco Supply Chain Services portfolio. The primary purpose of the Ability to multi-task under pressure is a must.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Manage the customer service aspect of operations for assigned shipments and/or accounts

communication to meet customer needs and address any foreseen issues regarding operations, payments and pricing

Previous intermodal container experience (*preferred)*

Previous experience or familiarity with rail and port operations (*preferred)*

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure with efficiency

Ability to manage heavy volume of emails

Strong communication, time management and organizational skills

Ability to work with a team, while delivering independent results

Driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated

Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others

**Reasoning Ability**

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

**Work Environment and Conditions**

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive team member and supplier contact and frequent interruptions.

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms as well as speak, hear and see clearly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
