    Medical Records/Data Entry Specialist

    This position is remote, but must reside in Maricopa County. Candidate must be able to pick up equipment onsite in Mesa, AZ.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access proficiently to process daily demographics into a standardized format, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
    • Access client portals remotely to rectify holding and pending information discrepancies, particularly focusing on missing charge and demographic data initially omitted.
    • Conduct thorough research to identify new referring physicians, correct addresses, and National Provider Identifiers (NPIs), ensuring accurate billing information.
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical administrative role, Data Entry, or similar position within a healthcare setting.
    • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other relevant software applications.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Availability to work Monday to Friday, , from 8 am to 5 pm.
    • Contract duration: 2 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
    • Experience in Nextgen is a plus.

    Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
