    Core4ce is looking to hire a Network Administrator
    The Network Administrator will configure, install, and support network hardware and software infrastructure
    The candidate will ensure that all network equipment complies with industry and corporate standards as well as conduct routine preventative measures and implement and maintain network security and ensure security compliance
    This role will be responsible for the planning and implementation of future IT development projects and undertaking project work including project management duties
    Requirements

    Required Skills:
    Demonstrating a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models and provide examples
    Demonstrating a solid understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network technologies
    Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls
    Experience with LAN/WAN technologies
    Knowledge and experience working with Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and associated technologies
    Experience with TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic
    Understanding of essential network services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP, and SNMP
    Experience in implementing/maintaining the monitoring, alerting and repairing systems for production network in a production environment
    Experience with F5, AnyConnect, ISE or TLS/SSL Highly Desired Skills (considered a plus): Experience with writing scripts that use REST APIs, Syslog, xml, SNMP, and other Network Management Systems
    Experience deploying and troubleshooting Load Balanced services (SSL Certificate Management, DNS)
    Experience with the Puppet Labs or SaltStack configuration management system
    Knowledge of virtualization concepts as well as industry best practices to include virtualization technologies and management tools
    Experience with cloud network services on Azure, AWS or Oracle

    Position Requirements and Duties:
    Planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified network hardware and systems
    Managing accounts and network rights
    Configures network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and virtual devices in VMware
    Analyzes and resolves faults, ranging from major system crash to a forgotten password
    Ensuring systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency; maintaining systems configuration
    Managing the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements

    Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices Qualifications: Four (4) years of hands on experience as a Network Administrator performing the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network devices.

    Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience in network administration

    Minimum Security Clearance:
    US citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance
    Candidates with a current/active DoD clearance will be given preference

    Required Education:
    Possess a high school diploma or GED Certifications: 8570 IAT Level II Certification and CND

    Infrastructure Support Travel:
    Up to 10% Travel May be required

    Additional Information:
    Overtime may be required as needed to support incident response actions (Surge)
    Authorized to view audit records on Central Log Server
