- Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed - including tax planning, client interaction and performing special tax projects.
- Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
- Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
- Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
- You have good communication skills, both written and verbal. You're able to convey tax concepts to clients and the staff you're mentoring in a manner that they'll understand.
- You love public accounting. It is your passion, although certainly NOT your only interest
- You take pride in helping others, and you are ready to take on the challenge of leading a team of high-performing individuals.
- You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's rules and applying them to your clients' facts and circumstances.
- You have a knack for solving problems and identifying issues while bringing solutions to the table.
- You have experience with and strong knowledge of ASC 740 and accounting
- You've completed accounting for income tax preparation and ASC 740 and IAS 12 consultations
- You reviewed with C-Corp returns and have consolidated and multistate return experience
- You have experience providing assistance with deferred tax validation, tax provision controls, and provision process
- In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, hold or are working towards an active CPA license, and have 3-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work.

Benefits and Compensation
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
Salary Range: $74,000 - $92,000
Beyond base salary, Eide Bailly provides benefits such as: generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
