    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a dayshift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and expertise in diverse surgical procedures.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
    Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    Wide range of general and specialty surgeries including bariatric, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, urology, endoscopic, and robotic cases
    EMR utilized is Epic with Epic experience preferred
    Patient population includes adults undergoing routine and complex surgical interventions
    Scrubs are provided for staff
    First-time travelers will be considered for this position
    No travel pairs or groups are permitted
    Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
    Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
    No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation

    Requirements
    Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
    A minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience is required; 1-2 years preferred
    Skills in a variety of surgical specialties such as general, bariatric, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, urology, robotic, and endoscopic procedures
    Epic charting experience is preferred
