Location: Mount Vernon, WA

Facility Salary: $104,000.00 to $156,000.00

Education

1. Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Laboratory Science, Public Health, or other health-related field required. Masters in Nursing,
2. Laboratory Science, Public Health or other Health care related field is preferred.

Experience/Training

1. Minimum of five years of Infection Prevention experience required
2. Minimum of three years of applicable leadership strongly preferred.
3. Electronic Health Record experience required,
4. Epic experience preferred.

License/Certifications

1. Current Registered Nurse licensure required,
2. State of Washington Registered Nurse licensure preferred.
3. Certification in Infection Control required.

Leads and maintains an infection prevention program, including training the team and overseeing data collection and reporting per CDC criteria. Investigates nosocomial infections and reports through the Quality Management System. Uses epidemiologic methods to analyze trends and develop control strategies. Conducts environmental infection prevention rounds and investigates outbreaks. Coordinates reporting with labs and health departments, compiles reports for committees, and ensures compliance with standards. Works with Plant Services on construction safety and maintains infection prevention policies and procedures.
