    Description
    Clean Harbors in Lackawanna, NY is looking for a Material Handler to join their safety-conscious team Our Material Handler is responsible for collection and disposal of hazardous, and non-hazardous waste from customer sites. You will be responsible for proper packaging, offloading, and disposition to a Clean Harbors facility.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Making pickups of hazardous waste throughout the customer location.
    • Performing physical labor duties (ie. Moving various hazardous and non-hazardous waste).
    • Entering waste pickups into a spreadsheet.

    What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
    • Previous material handling experience is preferred
    • Ability to interact with customers and represent Clean Harbors in a professional manner;
    • Basic computer skills.
