    Description

    Local Medical Device Equipment company seeking an energized customer service representative to join their team

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Communicates with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner.
    • Involved, as directed, in all aspects of the intake process: answering the phone and processing faxes, collecting patient and referral source information, inputting data into appropriate systems, assembling charts and processing paperwork.
    • Prepares delivery tickets for daily routes.
    • Prepares complete and accurate files for billing department.
    • Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company.
    • Provide technical assistance to customers, as appropriate.
    • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medi-Cal, private insurances and regulatory body regulations.
    • Assist in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate.
    • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy.
    • Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities, including but not limited to industry specific update training, CEUs related to certifications
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
