Description
A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Computer Engineer to sit hybrid.This person will be a part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to not only help write software but they will be helping develop and work with flight algorithms/flight routes.
They will be assisting with the planning and logic of what needs to be done for the specific flight scenario and then either implementing themselves in C++ or Python, handing it off to other developers or they will be implementing and prototyping in Matlab ensuring its working well, tuning and making adjustments if needed and then helping with the analysis.

Required Skills & Experience- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Aerospace or Electrical or related- 2+ years of experience in Software/Computer Science environment
o Developing algorithms, implementing code in C++ or python, applied math- Ability to obtain a clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters Degree
Experience developing in Linux ( highly preferred since they are mainly developing in Linux) If they don't have experience someone who is a quick learner and willing to pick this up
Developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands, status, data) with hardware devices, sensors, and/or systems
MATLAB/Simulink experience
Autonomy research- HUGE PLUS
Modeling & Simulation experience
Air Force background
UAV simulation experience
Security Clearance
