Operations Coordinator
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote our Safety culture
Responsible for coordinating and development of the production schedule
Coordination and management of railcars on site and in transit
Liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics and Sales
Coordination of Supplier Savings initiatives
Coordination and tracking of Warehouse transfers for increased efficiency
Coordination of inbound PO's, to include, scheduling, receiving and processing paperwork
Submit COA's to respective customers
Coordination and scheduling of inbound shipments
Supervision of Warehouse Workers
Other tasks as assigned
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited four (4) year college or university preferred
Proven experience working as a production planner is advantageous
Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Independent thinker yet willing to compromise and collaborate with other departments to satisfy customer needs
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead collaborative efforts
Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and timely in consideration of audience and medium.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite required.
