Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Teradata Developer for our client in the IT Services and Solutions domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: Full-time

Location: Remote

Role: Teradata Developer

Primary Skills: Teradata

Role Description: As a Teradata Developer, you must have at least 3+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

Proficient in Teradata

Strong SQL development aptitude, including object creations and complex SQL and PL/SQL techniques.

Experience in code development, performance tuning, data governance, and security in a database environment.

Knowledge of Massively Parallel Processing Architecture, especially in a data warehouse context or/and a big data context.

Technical training and consulting experience, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot SQL.

Previous experience in an Enterprise eco system.

Assisting in grooming user stories, test cases, automation, and documenting best practices.

Knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD methodology.

Knowledge of scheduling batch jobs and the ability to troubleshoot issues with existing solutions.

Exposure to Agile development and Agile ceremonies

Some Greenplum experience is desired

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
