    We are growing in the Gainesville, FL area and have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our Treatment and Industrial team.

    As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring construction projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

    This can be seen in our work, including General Construction, Construction Management, Design Build, Water and Wastewater Construction, and Concrete Construction services.

    Your Responsibilities In This Role

    Primary representative of Dugan & Meyers on each project who is fully responsible for every phase of the project's operation and completion

    Serves as the company liaison with co-workers, clients, and project stakeholders to seamlessly coordinate and effectively communicate the flow of information

    Initiates cost control and reporting procedures in conjunction with the Estimating and Accounting teams

    Manages financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, contractor and supplier payments, equipment rentals, back charges, etc. Prepares monthly financial projections for leadership review

    Works with the Corporate Safety Director and Regional Safety Manager to ensure the project's safety program is carried out and established

    Formulates goals and objectives for the project and actively manages the project schedule including the critical path and all the milestones to ensure project goals are exceeded or met

    Coordinates staffing requirements and actively serves as a mentor for the project's team

    What You Need To Qualify

    5-7 years of relative job experience - experience in the construction of water/waste-water treatment plants highly preferred

    Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management with a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices

    BS degree in engineering or construction management

    Proven ability to coach, train and mentor others

    Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy are essential
